Lori started writing her first book when she was fourteen years old. There were so many things she didn't know about writing a novel, but that didn't stop her. What she lacked in experience and training, her zeal and enthusiasm made up for. Many people, including some members of her family, told her she was not ready to write a book. Her teachers thought her writing was good, but they warned her not to get her hopes up.

But, Lori had faith! She had the confident assurance that she would be a published author, no matter what anyone else said.

Over the next year, Lori finished her book. She used money from her allowance, Christmas and birthday gifts, and babysitting jobs to hire an editor and a self-publishing services company to publish her book. It took another year to finally complete the project, but on her sixteenth birthday, Lori had a book launch party to celebrate her accomplishment.
To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, and to be certain of the things we cannot see. It might not happen overnight, but don't stop believing! Your faith can open the right doors and allow you to experience God's abundant favor.
